Quanta unveils CCO Michaelides

Isle of Man based blockchain lottery operator Quanta has officially announced the appointment of Stelios P Michaelides as the group’s new Chief Compliance Officer.

With over 40 years of managerial experience, in which he has ensured optimal financial and business operations across extremely diverse geographies and sectors, Michaelides has been described by his new employers as a strategic thinker that is both internationally-minded and versatile. 

Harmen Brenninkmeijer, Quanta’s CEO, stated: “Stelios has sound judgment and ability to identify and resolve complex issues in a dynamic environment. I am confident that he will further Quanta’s ability to successfully navigate the ever-changing business and regulatory landscapes.”

In his 40 years of management experience, Michaelides has become well-versed in managing stakeholder relationships, building support and loyalty in order to achieve shared goals and further business success.

Moreover, the new COO boasts experience in restructuring internal operations and processes and executing change management techniques as well as developing innovative accounting and financial management systems from the ground up. 

He has also guided companies across large-scale transitions using his ‘outstanding management skills’ to optimize and exceed performance expectations.

Describing Michaelides’ abilities and competencies, Quanta stated: “[He is] an adept leader with the ability to restructure internal operations and processes in order to improve a company’s revenue and reputation. 

“[He is] able to work autonomously or lead remotely in order to make informed decisions necessary to implement company success, [and has] a proven track record of stellar financial planning, budgeting and forecasting, alongside a wealth of experience in building company awareness and reputation on a global scale.”
